Why your assessment answers matter
The questions we ask before showing you a final offer are not just admin. Your answers set the price. Answer carefully and honestly, and the offer we show you is what we pay â no reductions when your phone arrives, no renegotiation.
Condition affects value
Most people take care of their phones. Cases, screen protectors, the works. That care matters â but so does the reality of the second-hand market, which is driven by buyers looking for value. A device in genuinely good condition is worth more than one with scratches or a cracked screen. That is not us being harsh, it is what buyers will actually pay on the other end.
We are not trying to undervalue your device. We are trying to match the offer to what it is actually worth, which works out better for both sides.
What happens if there is a discrepancy
If your phone arrives and the condition does not match what you described, we will revise the offer and contact you before doing anything. You can accept the new price, or we will arrange to return the device to you. In some cases, you may need to arrange collection yourself â full details on how returns work are covered in our Terms and Conditions. We would much rather get it right the first time â a revised offer is frustrating for everyone involved.
Sending your device
Once you accept your offer, we send a free prepaid Royal Mail label. The label covers up to ÂŖ150 insurance. If your device is worth more than ÂŖ150, we recommend Royal Mail Special Delivery, which insures the full value during transit.
