Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before submitting your order on our site. By submitting an order, you agree to be bound by these terms and our terms of use.

Last updated: 14 February 2026

You should print and keep a copy of these terms and conditions and the terms of use for future reference. Our site is intended for use by people registered with us and residents in the UK. At our discretion, we may accept or reject orders from people outside of the UK.

Contract Formation

Your contract with us is formed when we receive your order. It incorporates these terms and conditions and our terms of use. Ownership of any device(s) passes to us when we receive the device(s) and dispatch payment to you.

The contract is binding on both parties and their respective successors and assigns. You may not transfer or assign the contract or any rights/obligations under it without our prior written consent. We may transfer or subcontract our rights or obligations at any time.

Cancellation, Cooling Off & Declining an Offer

You may cancel at any time up to when you send us the device, provided the contract was concluded exclusively using distance communication and you are acting as a consumer. No reason is required, and no administration charges apply during the cooling‑off period.

If you cancel within 14 days of placing your order and the device has already been sent to us, we will make the device available for return. In most cases — where any discrepancy appears to be a minor oversight — we will return your device free of charge. However, if upon inspection we find that the device has been significantly misrepresented during the online assessment — for example, sending a faulty device described as being in good working condition, or failing to declare a contract or finance agreement — you will be responsible for arranging and covering the cost of collecting your device. We operate in good faith and expect the same from our customers.

Eligibility & Warranties

  • You are a UK resident, legally capable of entering a binding contract, and 18+ years old; or
  • If under 18, you have your parent/guardian's consent to sell the device to us.

You warrant that you own all rights in the device(s) you sell to us and that the device(s) comply with these terms.

If you select "Excellent" condition for your device, you may be required to provide a valid purchase receipt as proof of the manufacturer's warranty. Failure to provide a receipt may result in the device being reclassified as "Good" condition with an adjusted price.

Assessment Accuracy & Good Faith

When completing the online assessment for your device, you must provide honest and accurate responses about its condition, functionality, and ownership status. The quote you receive is based entirely on the information you provide during this assessment.

If we receive your device and find that it does not quite match the condition described, we may need to revise our offer. We understand that minor oversights can happen — if you decline the revised offer in these cases, we will return your device free of charge.

However, where there is a significant discrepancy — for example, sending a faulty device that was described as being in good working condition — and you decline the revised offer, you will be responsible for arranging the collection of your device at your own expense.

We operate in good faith and trust that our customers do the same. Deliberately misrepresenting the condition of a device to obtain a higher quote may be considered fraudulent.

Contract & Finance Devices

You must not sell a device that is still subject to an active contract or finance agreement. Until a contract is fully paid off, the device remains the property of the network or finance provider. If monthly payments are missed, the provider may blacklist the device — rendering it unusable and worthless.

If you are within the final 6 months of your contract, you may still receive a quote; however, we will require proof that the contract has been fully settled before we can process your payment.

If we discover an outstanding finance agreement or contract during our checks, we will not be able to proceed with the sale and the device will need to be returned at your own expense.

Device Conditions

Working Devices

  • Power on/off and all buttons work
  • Fully functional OS; working display and touchscreen (no cracks, pixel damage or defects)
  • No damage to rear glass or camera lens; housing not bent
  • Includes battery (and charger if wearable)
  • No water damage (indicators not red)
  • All core features (calls, Wi‑Fi, camera, video, etc.) working

Excellent Condition Devices

A device in "Excellent" condition must meet all of the following criteria:

  • No scratches, cracks, chips, bends, damage or any sign of use
  • Powers on and functions as new
  • Includes original accessories and box in unused condition or with very little use
  • Must be a UK model

Because a device in excellent condition should have been purchased new, it is expected to still be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. We may request a purchase receipt to verify this warranty. If a receipt cannot be provided, or if the device does not meet the excellent condition criteria upon inspection, it will be accepted as "Good" condition and the price adjusted accordingly.

Faulty Devices

  • Include battery; intact (not crushed/bent/snapped); no missing parts
  • Examples: water damage, broken/bleeding LCD, blank display, no power, cracked touch, OS faults

All devices must be free of activation locks and deregistered from accounts. Devices must be on a UK network or unlocked.

Adjusted Offers

If a device fails to meet these terms or does not match the condition described during the online assessment, we may email an adjusted price. If the discrepancy is minor and appears to be an honest oversight, we will return the device free of charge should you decline the revised offer. If the device has been significantly misrepresented — for example, a faulty device described as working — you will need to arrange for the collection of your device at your own expense. If you do not reply within 7 days, we may process payment of the adjusted offer.

Data Risks & Precautions

You agree to release us from claims relating to data remaining on devices. Please remove all data before sending your device. If non‑functional, attempt a remote wipe where possible. We generally require downstream partners to wipe data before reuse.

SIM Cards

Remove SIMs and cancel any contracts before sending the device. We accept no liability for charges arising from SIMs left in devices. SIMs received are non‑returnable.

Lost or Stolen Devices

Selling a device you do not own may be a criminal offence. We support the ‘Stop Stolen Mobiles Being Recycled’ code of practice.

Pricing

Prices are subject to change. Quoted prices are guaranteed for 14 days from the ‘Order Approved’ date (the date we email confirmation). Devices received after 14 days are subject to the then‑current price.

Postage & Shipping

We provide a prepaid Royal Mail shipping label with QR code covering up to £100. Simply pack your device securely, scan the QR code at any Post Office (no printer needed), and drop it off. For higher‑value devices, we recommend tracked/insured services.

Payments

Bank transfers are made to the account details provided at order placement. We cannot recall or reissue bank transfers once made.

Events Outside Our Control

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control or due to compliance with applicable laws/regulations.

Important

PLEASE ENSURE YOU ARE HAPPY TO SEND THE DEVICE TO US AND THAT IT IS WITHIN YOUR RIGHTS TO DO SO.
